In the first part of my talk, I will show how commonsense knowledge can be used to make the reasoning about reading comprehension more intuitive [1]. In the second part, I will introduce a new dataset about open book question answering (OpenBookQA) [2] show the performance of some models. Answering the questions form OpenBookQA is challenging and requires combining scientific knowledge (open book) and external common knowledge in a multi-hop fashion.
