"Working with Electronic Health Records: Machine Learning for Data Analysis"

Abstract:
The increasing availability of electronic health records documenting each hospital stay enables new opportunities for automatic analysis of a patient's health status and development. We will discuss several models to establish an early warning score for sepsis, the third leading death cause in Germany. In this talk, we will present the interdisciplinary SCIDATOS-project, its difficulties and possibilies, and we will provide a sketch of the current status of the project.
