September 2016
In a last meeting of the FAG-7 in Bochum,
the 'project phase' of CLARIN-D is officially closed.
After six years of leadership of the FAG-7,
Prof. Anette Frank pass the baton
to Prof. Erhard Hinrichs,
who will organize the subsequent 'application phase' of CLARIN-D.
The members of FAG-7 thank Anette Frank
for many years of
constructive and dedicated work,
organization and supervison of our successful projects
which made possible a lively co-operation
within and beyond the group. Thank you!
September 2016
The third curation project is successfully completed.
Thanks for all researchers, for the CP3 group,
for our annotators, WebAnno-testers and research assistants for their work!
June 2016
WebAnno 3 is presented on
Forum CA3
by Dr. Richard Eckart de Castilho and Éva Mújdricza-Maydt.
Additionally, results of the areas A and B are presented in the poster session.
May 2016
In the FAG-7 meeting in Heidelberg,
we present the outcomes and results of the third curation project,
and discuss them with FAG-members and guests.
Thereafter, modalities of future co-operations after the curation projects are discussed.
April 2016
WebAnno 2.3 is released! Among others, this release fixes bugs and offers an enhanced support for right-to-left languages.
In parallel, beta versions of WebAnno 3 are already available for testing purposes.
September 2015
The FAG-7 is supporting the
GermEval 2015: LexSub – A Shared Task for German-language Lexical Substitution shared task.
The task is organized by Prof. Iryna Gurevych and Dr. Chris Biemann.
The results are presented on 29th September in Duisburg-Essen
as a workshop on the CSCL 2015 conference.

June 2015
At the end of June, we are participating in the third F-AG Workshop of CLARIN-D in Leipzig, where also the new release of WebAnno 2.2.0 will be presented.
March 2015
On 9 March, we organize an F-AG 7 meeting in Heidelberg. On the CLARIN-D consortium meeting in Braunschweig the new curation project will be presented.

The third curation project Semantic Annotation for Digital Humanities (KP3) can start! Also a new release of WebAnno (2.1) is published.
November 2014
A new curation project Semantic Annotation for Digital Humanities (KP3) is submitted. The aim of the new projet is to consolidate the successful work of the previous curation projects and to extend them in novel directions for practical use in DH projects.
