background in neural network methods (PS/HS "Neural Networks: Architectures and Applications", HS: "Neural Methods in NLP" or equivalent background)

Assessment

Successful participation in all phases of the research project

Inhalt

Jointly with the participants we will select topics from current
research in Deep Learning for NLP. Within the chosen topic we will
define research projects that will be conducted by the students. This
includes literature research, experimental design, implementation and
written report or publication.

Projects can but must not be selected from themes discussed in the Neural Methods for NLP seminar. See also a recent list of thesis topics here. .
