Participation in the GIVE Challenge
Michael Haas, Eric Hildebrand and Eleftherios Matios developed a system that generates instructions to guide users through virtual 3D worlds. The resulting system took part in the
GIVE challenge, a novel approach to evaluate and improve natural language generation systems on a large scale using feedback of online participants. The project originated in
Michael Roth's seminar on “Natural Language Generation for Virtual Environments”.
